Investing in Local Youth Through 4-H
As part of the annual 4-H program, Garrhs proudly purchased award-winning animals, directly supporting students who dedicated months of effort to raising, caring for, and presenting their projects.
These purchases help fund future education, livestock programs, and leadership opportunities for local youth. More importantly, they reinforce the values 4-H instills—hard work, accountability, and pride in a job well done—values that closely align with how Garrhs approaches our work every day.
Garrhs Own Tim Karp Helps Lead Colorado to National Championship
Garrhs is especially proud to recognize Tim Karp, one of our own team members, who served as a coach for Colorado’s small bore rifle team at the 2025 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska.
The national competition featured more than 740 athletes from across the country, with each state limited to four competitors per discipline. Representing Colorado in small bore rifle were athletes from Routt County and Durango, including Shane Elworthy of Durango.
Under Tim’s leadership and guidance from the broader coaching team, Colorado delivered an outstanding performance across multiple events, ultimately returning home as national champions in small bore rifle.
